Just Nuisance

Just Nuisance 01 Apr. 2007

Sunday The 1st of April 2007 was the 70th aniversary of the birth of AB "JUST NUISANCE". The Simon's Town historical society held a special event to mark the occasion. It included a march from the Simons's Town museum to the statute of Just Nuisance on Jubilee Square. The parade was led by a Just nuisance lookalike escorted by an ex-pongo dressed in tropicals followed by the standards of HMS GANGES and the Cape Town RNA in front of the rest of the parade.. A great dane lookalike competition was held and a wreath and floral tribute was laid at the statue. Attached find photo of our acting local unpaid standard bearer Mike Dutton at the statue, as Peter Townrow our permanent standard bearer is in the UK for 6 months. also photo of his wife Bernice laying the floral tribute.
