R C Farndon - 1937 Admiralty Seamanship Manual, Volume One.

My close friend, Eric Hanley who is a professional, water-colour, marine artist, specialising in naval warships, has generously given me a copy of a 1937 Admiralty Seamanship Manual, Volume One. (Priced 7s 6d!)
The fly-leaf indicates that it once belonged to "L/B. R.C. FARNDON. 7928. 143 CLASS. RODNEY." I am guessing the L/B is Leading Bosun or Boatswain? Being ex Ganges, I guess 143 Class, Rodney indicates he is also an ex- Ganges rating and not serving on HMS RODNEY.
If anyone recognises this old ship-mate, please contact me <frank.foulger@ntlworld.com> or phone 023 9281 8437. I will be happy to re-unite him with his manual or if he has passed the bar, then family are more than welcome to his "Bible".
CRS(W)(SM) Frank Foulger, HMS Ganges 49 Recruitment. Exmouth Div (1962).
