Taken just before summer leave 1953, These were two of the classes that went on flood
relief work at Trimley Marshes during the big floods of 1953.
I often wonder how some of the lads in the photo are doing these days,
most of them will be retired by now, I'm Dave Bridger, back row, second left.
The picture was taken bottom of the long covered way,
down steps to Stores, messdeck above.
