HMS Ganges Association
Boy Seaman Leonard Harris 1923
He was a Chatham rating and served in the seamans branch, mostly on destroyers, but his longest commission was on HMS Aster a flower class corvette.
He was mostly at sea with short spells ashore at HMS Pembroke (RNB Chatham).
He was in the 1930 Royal Tournament Field gun team, but a last minute dose of flu meant he didn't actually do the runs.
