Captain Murray Dunlop

Daily Telegraph - Saturday 1st September 2007
Dunlop Capt. JMC (Murray) CBE RN died peacefully on 28th August 2007 after a tragic accident, aged 84.  His loving family were present at his bedside.   He leaves his wife Peggy, children Justin and Lucinda, four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.  Funeral at 1 p.m. on Friday 14th September at St. Mary's Church, Martlesham, Suffolk.   Family flowers only.  Donations if desired to the Arthritis Research Council c/o E.B. Button, Funeral Director, Woodbridge IP12 1EB.

Philip Barnett C/SSX 889212 joined Ganges 10th November 1949.
Crossed the Bar 16/09/07 after a long illness.

As Captain Murray Dunlop was going through the final "Pipe Down", so too was Arthur [Nobby] Clark. DJX778029 Joined HMS Ganges, on 01/01/1946. Collingwood 206/5
His funeral service was at St Mary's Church, Shirehampton, Bristol. At 1030, on 14th September, 2007.
Followed by a "Final Farewell", at Canford Lane Crematorium, Westbury on Trym, Bristol.
These services were attended by Nobby's family and his many friends. HMS Ganges Association was represented by four members of the, Bristol and District Division as follows, Frank Marshall [46], Bill Lott [52], Cliff Hodge [55] & Charlie Cooke [61].

Leslie John Robinson C/JX162641 Joined H.M.S. Ganges 8th May 1939 as a 2nd class boy. Died 11.9.07 in Perth, Western Australia, after a short illness.
